Martexin Original Wax
Waxed cotton is a terrifically durable material but, under heavy use, high-wear areas can require occasional reproofing. The process is simple and satisfying. We recommend Martexin Original Wax, the same formula used on all of our waxed cotton materials. This is an ideal wax for the first-time reproofer, being slightly softer and easier to spread than other waxes. Also, Martexin remains blessedly free of the strong paraffin associated with British waxed cottons.
