If you are like us, you love DIY projects. You keep tools close at hand for home repairs, bike adjustments or impromptu maker projects. We love tool rolls because they let you sort and store your tools in a convenient, easy to transfer package. Hardware stores sell tool rolls that are made from substandard materials in sizes that often don’t work for smaller scale implements like drafting pencils, needle nosed pliers or multitools. We set out to create an Archival tool roll using the same materials and manufacturing methods that we use to make our bags.
Our Archival Tool Roll is made from waxed cotton gridwax. It comes with 6 pockets of varying sizes and a protective flap. All unfinished edges are bound with bias tape. Stress points are reinforced. We use the best quality hardware, right down to the leather lace that ties the roll together. You can leave the tool roll open to store tools on a flat surface or bundle it up and store inside a drawer or your Archival bag.
