Care Instructions for Waxed Cotton
Our bags arrive at your door fully waxed and ready to use. After a year of frequent use, you may want to re-wax your bag to maintain its water repellency. Martexin re-proofing wax is available in the Archival Clothing Store.
Do not machine wash or dry clean as it will remove the finish. Doing so, would also re-distribute the wax onto your other clothes, or washing machine. To spot clean, wipe the area with a clean, damp cloth or brush. Use cold water. Do not use soap, or this may remove the wax finish.
Our Return Policy
To return an item purchased from the Archival Clothing Store, you must do so within 30 days of purchase.
Items that are new (unworn/ unused) can be returned for a full refund of the purchase price of the item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for items that have been worn, laundered or have the normal marks of wear.
Customers are responsible for shipping costs associated with the return.

Archival Clothing processes refunds within one week after receiving the returned item. Refunds will be applied to the original credit card (or PayPal account). Please note that a credit issued to your credit card may take additional time to be acknowledged by your credit card institution.
You can exchange an item, while it is still new, for a different size or color. Place a new order through Archival Clothing — or contact us at email@example.com. This way we can get a replacement item on the way to you, as quickly as possible. Once we receive your return, we will refund your credit card or PayPal account for the purchase price of the item. Thank you.
If you purchased an item through one of our Retail partners, you should contact them directly on a return. We cannot refund the purchase price of any item not purchased from us directly.
If you need to exchange an item that you received as a gift, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we should be able to, in most cases, help you identify the order and proceed with the return. Let us know how we can be of assistance. At Archival Clothing we want our customers to be as satisfied with us, as they are with our products.
Payment Types Accepted
Archival Clothing accepts most major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover) and payment via PayPal. We do not currently accept American Express. If you would prefer to mail in a check or money order, contact us for assistance with your order.
Something Wrong with your order?
If you received the wrong item from what you originally ordered please contact us right away and we will take care of the problem.
It’s pretty unusual, but we admit we’re not perfect and we can make a mistake. We will do our best to make it up to you and get the right item to you, as quickly as possible.
You can determine the cost for shipping when you place an order from the Archival Clothing Store.
It is the first step in the order process - enter the destination address and see the cost of shipping, before you enter your payment information.
International orders may be subject to import taxes determined by the destination country. Import taxes and duties are the responsibility of the buyer. Import taxes, customs fees, and duty payments are always collected on delivery (COD). Your local postal service may deliver on a weekday or a weekend, so please choose your shipping address accordingly.
International customs forms require a phone number to reach you if necessary. This is why we request a phone number during the checkout process. Archival Clothing must declare the purchase price of the merchandise on the international customs forms. We cannot mark the item as a *gift*.
All credit card and PayPal transactions are secure and encrypted, and we never store your credit card information.
We also do not share your contact information with anyone, meaning we do not sell our customer list to other Retailers.
We request your contact information (email, phone) when you place an order so we can get in touch with you in case there is a problem with your order. You will also receive email notifications regarding the delivery status of your order. Or, you may get a notification that a product you were interested in is back in stock.
During the checkout process we give you the option of choosing to receive occasional emails about new products, specials, and other Archival Clothing updates.
